During furniture relocation or storage service, accidents can happen. By law most removal companies will offer transit and public liability insurance. However for specific items to be covered, you will require insurance by an accreditted removal company with Australian Furniture Removers Association (AFRA).
A small saving can cost you lots…
Whilst you may save a small amount on your furniture move with non-accredited companies, you will not be able to protect your goods. The only way your belongings can be insured is if you are using an AFRA-accredited company, as it’s illegal for any non-accredited company to provide you with insurance advice.
Ask for our insurance
At Leisure Coast Removals, we offer insurance so you can reassure that your belongings are covered for the entire move. This includes during the packing, transit and unloading phrase. Ask us about the insurance policies on offer.
PLEASE NOTE: The information given above is only general advice and does not take into consideration your individual situation. You should read the Product Disclosure Statement carefully before you decide whether to take out Customer Goods in Transit and Storage insurance and choose from the various options available. It is up to you to make sure the cover you choose suits your needs.
